The Natural Gas Infrastructure Company (ETYFA) of Cyprus completed the evaluation process of the “Owner’s Engineer” competition on July 31st 2020 and identified the consortium “Hill International N.V. and Bureau Veritas Solutions Marine & Offshore Greek branch” with subcontractors Tractebel and Gazocean. The team of supervising engineers, which undertakes the project of developing infrastructure for the import of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in Cyprus, is of international caliber with a strong European representation.
The stage of proposals’ submission for the tender was completed on May 21st, having received eight (8) proposals in total from international companies in the field of energy, showing the high level of interest of energy giants to participate in this project of distinct energy and geostrategic importance for the South East Mediterranean Region.
The project is planned to be completed within 24 months at Vasilikos Bay in Cyprus.
